Vision Statement

Emory Presbyterian Church will become an even more inclusive congregation by welcoming people of diverse backgrounds. As a seeking community, we encourage questions and support authentic wrestling with faith. Our community will know us for inspiring worship, excellence in music, enriching education, and life-changing service to the world through Jesus Christ. As our membership grows, we will dedicate an increasing percentage of our resources to mission and worship. Through faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to reaching new disciples, we call on God to increase our communion to 200 involved members by 2012. (October, 2009) |
The Covenant of Emory Presbyterian Church:

we pledge
to inspire each other to prayer, study, and stewardship,

to minister faithfully to the poor, lonely, sick, and those in need;
to reach out, sharing our faith,
inviting and welcoming others into our fellowship;
and to seek justice and healing
in the church, community and world.
