ORGANIZATION

Emory Presbyterian Church belongs to the Presbyterian Church (USA). We are part of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta.

In accordance with Presbyterian practice, the elders (not necessarily elderly!) are elected by the congregation for three-year terms to serve as leaders of our church. The group of ruling elders is called the Session. Generally the elders also serve as chairs of ministry teams which oversee and conduct the church business.

Ministry Teams (Committees)

Ministry teams are open to anyone interested in serving. At Emory Presbyterian, we value the participation of all, in whatever way they are able to share their time, talent and enthusiasm. If you have ideas for making things better, you are encouraged to make them happen. The ministry team liaisons welcome your feedback and involvement.
