Jill Oglesby Evans, Pastor
We are excited to welcome Jill to our pulpit as our pastor.
Her warm and lively sermons show the deep awareness she has of the reality of God's love.
She's smart, funny, and a good listener. Ministry is Jill's third career, her first being in nursing and her second
in business. She's the mother of one son, Christopher.

Elise Sparks, Director of Music
Elise is a joyful and enthusiastic music director. She has a deep love for both
the music and the texts of sacred songs. She reminds us that there is a whole world of
music out there and that exploring different styles can be a delightful
adventure. She recently completed a master's degree in choral conducting from Emory University
and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in music education.

Deedra Rich, Director of Children and Youth Ministries
Deedra joined the staff of EPC in the summer of 2006.
A former high school science teacher, she is now following her call to Christian ministry. She is full of energy,
loving sports and camping. She has a big heart and a calm demeanor as she leads kids and youth in awesomely awesome activities.

Heather Baird-Winter, Church Office Administrator
Heather joined the staff of EPC in 2008, but she knows the church
very well because she grew up in it.
As the center of communication, she holds things together and keeps things going.
She produces the bulletins and directories. She seasons the information
she disseminates with her terrific sense of humor and her knack with words.

Nancy Wright, Accompanist
Nancy's roots at Emory go deep. Her mother joined Emory Church 6 months after it was chartered. EPC is her one and only church home. She is an ordained deacon and has served several times. She is married to husband Bill and has two children and two grandchilden. She is employed at DeKalb Medical Center as a Health Data Specialist. "Music" she says, "particularly church music and classical music, fills my soul and keeps me centered."

Stefanie Rubin and Christine Chiang, Nursery Caregivers
Stefanie Rubin, shown at right, is majoring in Chinese and economics at Emory University.
She loves to travel. As a child, she lived in Hong Kong and Singapore for 11 years.
She's going back to Asia for more study abroad during the spring semester.
Christine Chiang, shown at left, is also an Emory student interested in China. She is
a junior studying finance in the Goizueta Business School. She went to China for the first time for
study abroad last summer, where she got to hold a baby panda. An only child herself, she has always enjoyed children.
