More camping, and the Fall Festival

Youth play a very important role in the life of our church, and the church plays an important role in the life of the youth. Youth participate in the leadership of the church as a whole and often help with worship.

The youth take a summer trip every year. In 2010 the youth are going to Centralia, Illinois with Group Workcamps from July 25-30. Youth are also joining church members of all ages at the Music and Worship Arts week at Lake Junaluska from June 20-25.

Other youth programs are part of the weekly cycle of church life during the school year. This year the default meeting time for youth group is Sunday at 9:30 am in the youth room on the 3rd floor of the Education Building. However, check the events page to find out what is currently going on. There are often special events.
